Lauren Coleman-Tempel

Lauren Coleman-Tempel currently serves as the Director of the KU TRIO Training grant at the Center for Educational Opportunity Programs. Dr. Coleman-Tempel holds over 10 years of experience working within and evaluating federally funded grants such as TRIO and GEAR UP. These experiences help her center the marginalized populations served by both TRIO professionals and grant administrators as she builds thoughtful professional development experiences. Her passion is applied qualitative research with particular attention to racial inequities across US school systems.
